Start a field record from supported information you already hold. OrbiField offers manual Uptick and CSV import alongside creating sites and jobs directly in the application.

Start from Create site
Open Sites, choose Create site and expand Import from Uptick / CSV · Beta. Review the available import options and the source information before adding it. Import adds a job to a matching existing site or creates a new site when no matching site is found.
Keep the import under your control
The integration is manual. Review the supported source records and make the import deliberately when needed. Your existing business systems can remain in use for their own workflows. OrbiField does not automatically send edits back to Uptick or promise continuous two-way synchronisation.
Build the working record after import
Open the imported job and check the site address, client, references and description. Add your field notes, asset records, supporting pictures and linked drawing marks as the work progresses. Imported information gives the job a starting point; the visit still needs an accurate record of what you find.
Prepare the report in OrbiField
Review the captured material and select the assets, results and pictures for the client documents. Keep the report with the job and use the site history for later visits. Supported import fields and availability are shown in the application’s Beta workflow; review them before relying on a particular source format.
